Alguém me pode esclarecer se as portas fecham automáticamente quando o carro inicia a marcha ? e se isto dá para ligar ou desligar ? é que no meu não fecham.

Experimente pressionar durante uma serie de segundos o botão da consola central do fecho de portas. Em muitos automóveis é desta forma que funciona, se bem que no meu caso (é o XJ - X300) só mesmo pelo PC da Jaguar é configurável.

obrigado mas no meu caso não existe botão da consola central do fecho de portas.

Ora aí está uma coisa "estranha". O seu X-Type não tem o o 3ª botão a contar do lado direito no topo da consola (mesmo ao lado do botão dos 4 piscas)?

é verdade , o meu x-Type não tem nenhum botão de fecho central. na consola tem somente o botão dos 4 piscas.

vi isto num manual online será que o anterior proprietário mandou desactivar ?

"Drive away door locking
The doors and luggage compartment will
automatically lock when the vehicle’s forward
speed exceeds 7 km/h (5 mph).
This feature can be disabled by your Jaguar
Dealer.

Isso é típico. Onde haja "truques" dizem sempre para ir a um concessionario Jaguar, só que uma boa parte pode ser feita em casa, como por exemplo a reprogramação dos comandos remotos. Wink


Miguel, encontrei isto:

2. Lock the door by pushing in the button by the handle, and then pull the handle slightly to reopen it, repeat this sequence twice more.
3. Turn the ignition off and leave it off.
4. Lock the door by pushing in the button by the handle, and then pull the handle slightly to reopen it, repeat this sequence twice more.
5. Turn on the ignition again but don't start the engine. A ping should be heard.
6. Lock the door by pushing the button by the handle, and then pull the handle slightly to reopen again. A final double ping should be heard to indicate auto locking is enabled. If you've disabled the feature another ping will be heard when you drive off and exceed 4mph.

pois é tentei mas, essa instrução não resulta, é mesmo destinada ao X-Type ?

Posso dizer-lhe que no meu x-type, pouco tempo após iniciar a marcha, acontece o fecho automático das portas. Não faço ideia se é possível desactivar...

obrigado pelas tentativas de ajuda mas o que eu quero mesmo é activar o fecho automático das portas pois quando arranco elas não fecham.

Caro Miguel Oliveira,
grato pela ajuda mas esta instrução não funciona no meu carro. Vou marcar na Jaguar Porto pois eles fazem esse serviço de reactivar o fecho automático das portas, ligando ao computador de diagnóstico e facturando, claro.

finalmente resolvi esta questão, marquei na Jaguar /Porto e 22€ depois o carro já fecha as portas no arranque.
